In-House Testing Capabilities
100% of outgoing heaters are electrically tested before dispatch. Sample batches undergo destructive and environmental tests to verify manufacturing consistency.
Dielectric Strength Test
Every heater is subjected to a high-voltage dielectric test (1500 VAC or 2× rated voltage + 1000 V) to verify insulation integrity before dispatch.
Insulation Resistance Test
Insulation resistance measured at 500 VDC must exceed 100 MΩ at ambient temperature. This confirms the MgO fill is dry and intact.
Resistance Tolerance Check
Element cold resistance measured to confirm wattage within ±5% of nameplate rating at rated voltage.
Dimensional Inspection
Critical dimensions including sheath diameter, overall length, and hole-fit tolerance verified using calibrated gauges and micrometers.
Thermal Cycling Test (Sample)
Samples from each production batch undergo thermal cycling to operating temperature and back to verify mechanical integrity of the heater assembly.
Salt Spray / Corrosion Test (Sample)
Sheath materials for marine and chemical-duty heaters are verified against corrosion resistance requirements by salt spray exposure.
